The Colomba d’Oro is on schedule for the 2025 Opera Festival in the Verona Arena

The Colomba d’Oro is on schedule for the 2025 Opera Festival in the Verona Arena

“…And in today already walks tomorrow.” (Samuel Taylor Coleridge).

This is also true for the Opera Festival in the Verona Arena, so close to our 4-star hotel: while the last notes still resonate and the dancers are still stepping on the stage of the 101st Opera Festival, the Verona Arena has already released the program (and tickets) of the 102nd edition of the Opera Festival 2025, just a few steps from the Colomba d’Oro.

From June 13 to September 6, summer 2025 will be animated by 48 nights of opera and entertainment. The festival will open on June 13 and 14 with a brand new spectacular production of “Nabucco” directed by Stefano Poda, which is one of the most anticipated events of the 2025 Festival since Poda enchanted and won over the audience with his “crystal” Aida in the Festival n.100. This recent version of “Aida” directed by Poda will also be part of the 2025 schedule, as well as Franco Zeffirelli’s beloved “Carmen”, the refined 2011 production of “La Traviata” by Hugo De Ana with belle époque sets, tapestries and mirrors, as well as “Rigoletto” and “Carmina Burana” in August. Furthermore, in 2025 the highly acclaimed German tenor Jonas Kauffman will be back as the protagonist of a special gala; and the traditional double event dedicated to ballet with “Roberto Bolle and Friends” is also confirmed.
