Guided tours

Only for our guests, the city within a click.
“There is no world without Verona’s walls”, says Shakespeare through the words spoken by Romeo; today, such verse describes the enviable completeness of our city.
Sometimes things are “down under”, are in darkness, hidden, unknown, tampered with, but still deserve even more words, looks, shots. Some locations hold a magic to discover, listen and remember. Just like those places where something happens, sometimes, by chance … but conquers your heart and your looks.
Verona is not only the Arena, Romeo and Juliet, Ponte Pietra Bridge and Castelvecchio Castle; it’s much more. A treasure in northern Italy, a UNESCO heritage site; a jewel set among the bends of the Adige river; a glass of wine served at the tables of restaurants that are famous well beyond national borders; a marble slab supporting villas or palaces; a show close to the river.

Verona Underground
Verona, thanks to its treasure of archaeological finds and ancient monuments, is often called “little Rome”. Beyond the main monuments that can be admired through the streets and squares of the historic center, such as the Arco dei Gavi, Porta Borsari, Porta Leoni, the Roman Theater and of course the Arena, there is another city, visible only going down from 6 to 16 feet below ground. Hidden in the basements of banks, shops, restaurants, under churches and bars, you can discover the remains of Verona over two thousand years ago, patiently excavated by archaeologists over the years: mosaics of patrician houses (domus), basements and walls of buildings public, roads and remains of temples where the men and women of two thousand years ago lived their daily lives.
